about

In many cultures people share food and money however little this may be. In the West what you work for is for yourself. Both situations have advantages and disadvantages. “Mbassi filta wulo kono” means 'Mbassi got lost in the bush' and comes from a traditional Gambian song. If in Africa you don't follow the collective way or, in the West, the individualistic way you can get lost like Mbassi. So maybe something in between these extremes would be a better way of living for both societies and individuals.
